Air-cooled chillers for ice rinks, reconditioned and run under load before they ship. Rink cooling is a low-temperature, holding-temperature job, so the unit and its refrigerant, controls, and glycol setup have to be matched to the sheet load. We size, test, and document every chiller before it leaves.
Rinks run colder than comfort cooling and typically circulate a glycol brine, so the chiller needs the right refrigerant, freeze protection, and low leaving-fluid temperature. Holding a steady sheet temperature matters more than peak capacity.
Sizing depends on sheet area, ambient conditions, ice temperature, and how quickly you need to pull down. Tell us your rink and target temperature and we'll match tonnage and configuration, then load-test the unit before it ships.
